Full product description
The largest model in the Jambati Series
This 30/31 cm bowl is the largest model in our Vibroacoustic Singing Bowls – Jambati Series. It has been selected for direct vibroacoustic application on the body, while preserving the rich harmonic field and long resonance that define the Jambati character.
With an approximate weight of 2.8 kg and a low fundamental range of 75–120 Hz, this bowl enters a very deep zone of body perception. Its vibration is broad, immersive, and clearly felt in the body.
A bowl for deep and expansive body perception
At this size, the bowl produces one of the deepest responses in the series. The body no longer perceives the vibration only as a localized point. Instead, the sensation becomes more full-bodied, expansive, and immersive.
This is one of the reasons why this model is so valued in direct sound massage work: it combines very low frequencies, strong body presence, and the highly symphonic sound of the Jambati Series.
A strong bowl that works best with good technique
At first contact, this bowl may feel heavy, and it does require a strong arm. But in direct application on the body, the weight does not remain only in the practitioner’s hand. Once the bowl is placed correctly, the client’s body supports the weight of the bowl, which makes the work more practical and sustainable than it may seem at first.
This is not a light bowl, but with the right technique it becomes a very effective tool for deep direct application.
Why this is the largest size we recommend for sound massage
There are bowls larger than this one, but we do not recommend them for sound massage because they become too heavy in practice.
For this reason, the 30/31 cm model represents the upper limit of what we consider truly practical within this Jambati vibroacoustic collection for direct work on the body.
If what you want is to work with even lower frequencies, we recommend doing that in an analog way through a dedicated vibroacoustic device such as the Viset Pillow, rather than moving to oversized bowls that are no longer practical for sound massage sessions.
A highly symphonic bowl
Like the other bowls in this series, this model is highly symphonic. It has a long extinction time, many audible harmonics, and a rich musical response when rubbed.
That means this bowl is not only powerful in direct bodywork, but also valuable in practices where a fuller and more expressive sound field is desired.

FAQ
Why is this bowl considered one of the deepest vibroacoustic models in the series?
This bowl is considered one of the deepest models in the series because its lowest frequency range, approximately 75 to 120 Hz, already enters a very low zone of body perception.
In practice, these lower frequencies are usually felt as a more immersive, expansive, and full-bodied vibration. That is one of the main reasons why this model is perceived as especially powerful.
Does this bowl require more strength to use?
Yes. This bowl requires a strong arm, especially when positioning it and moving it during the session.
At the same time, in direct application on the body, the weight of the bowl rests mainly on the client’s body, not only on the practitioner’s hand. With good technique, this makes the bowl much more usable in practice.
Are all 30/31 cm bowls on the market suitable for sound massage?
No. Not every bowl of this size is suitable for sound massage.
Singing bowls produce several notes at the same time, and it is the lowest note that generates the perception of vibration in the body. Many bowls may produce a low tone when struck with a mallet, but when they are rubbed with a leather-covered stick, that low tone does not always respond with enough strength.
That is why size alone is not enough. In this collection, we make a very careful selection to ensure that each bowl offers the vibratory and sound quality required for vibroacoustic use in direct application on the body.
Why don’t you recommend larger bowls for sound massage?
There are bowls larger than this one, but for sound massage they become too heavy in practice.
This 30/31 cm model is the largest size we recommend in the Jambati Series because it still allows effective direct application on the body. Larger bowls may go lower, but they are no longer as practical for real session work.
What should I use if I want to work with even lower frequencies?
If you want to work with even lower frequencies, we recommend doing that through an analog vibroacoustic device such as the Viset Pillow.
That is a more practical way to reach lower-frequency work than moving to oversized bowls that become too heavy for sound massage.
What is the practical difference between the Jambati Series and the Somatic Series within your vibroacoustic bowls for sound massage?
Both the Jambati Series and the Somatic Series belong to our vibroacoustic singing bowls for sound massage, but they do not offer the same experience.
The Jambati Series is the more symphonic side of the collection. These bowls combine body vibration with a rich field of harmonics, long resonance, and a broader musical presence in the room.
The Somatic Series is more specifically centered on direct bodywork. These bowls tend to emphasize the lowest tone more directly, which is what the body perceives as vibration. For that reason, they are more focused on body application and less oriented toward uses where a broader harmonic field is desired.
Besides sound massage, can I also use it for Sound Healing, meditation, or sound bath?
Yes. Like the other bowls in the Jambati Series, this model can also be used in Sound Healing, meditation, sound bath, and yoga.
Its deep tone, long resonance, and rich harmonics make it especially valuable when a fuller and more immersive sound field is desired.
