About Gabriel F. Federico

Lic. Gabriel F. Federico is a perinatal therapist, graduate in music therapy, psychoanalyst, specialist in the Bick method of infant observation, writer, lecturer, and creator of the Focal Music Therapy in Obstetrics Model.

He has worked as an academic and university professor in Argentina, Brazil, and Spain, and is director of the C.A.M.I.N.O. Center. He served two terms as president of the Argentine Association of Music Therapy and collaborates with perinatal mental health teams in public hospitals in Buenos Aires.

Gabriel is also co-founder of the Argentine Society for Research in Infant Observation, consultant for the Mariposas Project in California, and current president of the Latin American Association of Baby Observers.

He is the author of several books on music therapy, translated into Portuguese, Korean, and English, including A Musical Journey Through Pregnancy. His teaching work has reached music therapists in Argentina, Brazil, Chile, Colombia, the United States, Spain, and Singapore.
