Description

Lightweight and highly responsive, ideal for sound projection in space.

This 12–13 cm bowl is one of the smallest within the small size category, positioned at the brighter end of the spectrum. It can be used in combination with larger bowls in individual Sound Therapy sessions, held in the hand during a Sound Bath, used in group Sound Healing sessions, or for your own Meditation Practice.

It produces a bright, pulsating sound with a fast response and long sustain, allowing you to subtly accent the sonic textures that define your sessions.

This bowl has been selected by Jorge Zain based on its acoustic behavior and its ability to integrate clearly within an immersive and enveloping sound field.

All our bowls are handcrafted using traditional forging and hammering techniques, giving them a unique sonic character that is difficult to find in general commercial circuits.

What is the best way to use this bowl?

This bowl works especially well as part of a set.

We recommend combining it with medium and larger bowls. Small bowls produce higher frequencies and, when used on their own, can feel intense or even slightly irritating for sensitive listeners.

When combined with deeper tones, however, they add clarity, subtle accents, and a balanced, enveloping texture — blending clear sounds, gentle pulses, and a richer spectrum of overtones.

Can this bowl be used on the body?

This bowl is not selected for vibroacoustic application.

If you are looking for a bowl to use directly on the body, please refer to our Vibroacoustic Singing Bowls for Sound Massage collection.

How do I choose the right size?

Smaller bowls tend to produce higher-pitched sounds with a faster response.

Larger bowls offer deeper frequencies and longer sustain.

This 12-13 cm bowl belongs to the small range and is typically used to add clarity and detail within a set.

Are larger bowls always better?

Size alone does not define quality or function.

Many bowls available on the market — even large ones — are not suitable for specific uses.

Each bowl in our selection is chosen based on its acoustic properties, how it interacts with other bowls, and its intended application.

Are these bowls made of “7 metals”?

The idea of “7 metal bowls” is widely used in the market, but it is not a reliable indicator of acoustic quality or function.

What truly matters is how the bowl behaves acoustically — the richness of its overtones, its pulsation, and its sustain.

Each bowl in our selection is chosen based on its sonic performance and function, not on symbolic or marketing-based classifications.
