Lightweight and easy to play, Singing Bowl - 15/16 cm stands at the meeting point between the small and medium-size range within our Sound Bath & Meditation selection.
This makes it one of the most versatile bowls in the collection. Compared with smaller bowls, it offers a more grounded and balanced sound, with enough clarity to remain articulate and enough body to feel more supportive in the space.
For that reason, it is a strong option as a first singing bowl. It can work well on its own in personal meditation and individual Sound Therapy sessions, while also integrating easily into a wider set for group Sound Bath and Sound Healing work.
Within a set, this size helps connect brighter small bowls with deeper medium and larger bowls. It can bring definition to the sound field without feeling too sharp, while also offering more presence and stability than very small sizes.
This bowl has been selected by Jorge Zain for its acoustic behavior and for the practical role it can play in meditation and sound-based session work. Like all our bowls, it is handcrafted using traditional forging and hammering techniques, which gives each piece its own sonic character.
What is the best way to use this bowl?
This bowl works particularly well as part of a set, but it can also be used on its own.
It combines perfectly with medium and larger bowls, as well as with smaller, higher-pitched ones. Although it carries higher frequencies, it also includes a balanced presence of mid-range tones, making it an excellent option if you are looking to start with a single bowl.
