Frosted Crystal Bowl Set – A E G (3 Bowls)

A 3-bowl set with a grounding low note, bringing strength and structure

This set includes 3 frosted quartz crystal bowls, tuned to the notes A, E, and G. This combination has been chosen by Jorge Zain for its grounded, luminous, and enveloping sound.

An accessible and progressive way to build your set

This 3-bowl set is an excellent way to begin working with crystal bowls without having to invest in a full 7-note set from the start.

Each combination has been designed to offer a complete musical experience from day one. It is not simply a matter of bringing three random notes together, but of creating a balanced, pleasant, and useful chord for real practice.

In addition, the notes in this set do not repeat those of the other available 3-bowl sets. This allows you to expand your collection little by little, incorporating new harmonic combinations and gradually building a broader system with low, middle, and high tones, without unnecessary duplication.

This way, you can move at your own pace, add new bowls when you feel ready, and develop a collection that becomes richer, more coherent, and more musical over time.

Together, these bowls bring authentic musicality to the service of well-being and expanded awareness.

Why choose your frosted crystal bowls at Vibroacustica?

Frosted crystal bowls are known for their strength, stability, and ease of use. They produce a powerful sound with strong projection, making them especially suitable for group sessions and sound baths in both large and small spaces.

A major issue, often unknown, is that the growing Sound Healing industry has led to the rise of non-specialized companies that mass-produce low-quality, inexpensive, and poorly tuned crystal bowls.

When bowls that are not properly tuned are played, especially at high volume, they can produce uncomfortable sound pulsations that some people may perceive as dizziness, discomfort, or headaches.

For this reason, we recommend avoiding the purchase of crystal bowls from general marketplaces or from music stores that are not specialized in Sound Therapy.

At Vibroacustica, we are convinced that frosted bowls are the most versatile crystal bowls to incorporate into your practice, because of their musicality, their deeply resonant sound, and their accessible price.

We work exclusively with suppliers who have been manufacturing these bowls for more than 30 years and, in addition, we carry out a careful, hands-on selection of each instrument.

Tuning and frequency approach

Education is the foundation of our work, even when it sometimes leads us in the opposite direction from the market.

All our crystal bowls are tuned in 440 Hz and, in fact, we do not recommend buying crystal bowls in 432 Hz for a purely practical reason, which we explain below:

Crystal bowls have an incredible musicality and combine beautifully with many musical instruments tuned in 440 Hz.

If you add water to your bowls, you can lower the tuning. So, if you want to play in 432 Hz and your bowls are tuned in 440 Hz, you can adjust them without any problem by adding water and using any tuner on your phone. On the other hand, if you buy your bowls directly in 432 Hz and later want to play with a piano, a flute, or other instruments tuned in 440 Hz, you will not be able to raise them to 440 Hz.

Our selection is based on sound quality, musical coherence, and real usability, rather than fixed frequency systems.

FAQ

1. Do I need previous experience to use this set?

No previous experience is required. Frosted bowls are especially easy to play, and this set is an excellent foundation for incorporating crystal bowls into your practice.

2. Is this set suitable for professional sessions?

Yes. This set has been selected to offer a reliable response both in personal practice and in professional contexts, including individual and group sessions.

3. Does this set include everything I need to start?

Yes. The set includes 3 bowls, 2 playing sticks, protective sleeves, and a carrying bag, so you can begin using it immediately.

At your own pace, you can gradually add the other two available 3-bowl sets and slowly complete your quartz bowl system, which will include the 7 notes — from C to B — as well as deeper bowls, so your sessions can have a balanced sound and a wider range of chords.

4. What is the difference between frosted bowls and clear crystal bowls?

Frosted bowls offer greater sound projection and more body, which makes them especially suitable for group work in larger spaces.

Clear bowls are much lighter, usually have a more subtle and refined response, and are more suitable for group work in smaller spaces as well as for individual sessions.

5. What sizes are the bowls and what are their notes?

The low A bowl is 14 inches, the E bowl is 10 inches, and the G bowl is 8 inches.

6. How can I expand this set in the future?

This set is part of our progressive frosted bowl system. We recommend complementing it with the C F A or G D B sets.

Together, they will complete a very balanced range of low, middle, and high notes, allowing you to create richer sound layers.

7. Is it easy to transport?

Yes. The set includes a carrying bag designed to make transport easier, although it is important to remember that this is a set of 3 crystal bowls and requires careful handling.

8. What maintenance do crystal bowls require?

Crystal bowls do not require technical maintenance. You can occasionally wash them with mild white soap and water to keep their color in good condition.

We recommend handling them with care, avoiding impacts, and always transporting them in their protective sleeves.
