Full product description
A deep Jambati bowl with strong body presence
The 27/28 cm model belongs to the more powerful end of our Vibroacoustic Singing Bowls – Jambati Series. At this size, the bowl already enters a lower range that produces a deep, expansive, and clearly embodied vibration, while preserving the long resonance and rich harmonic field that make Jambati bowls so distinctive.
With an approximate weight of 2.3 kg, it has a strong physical presence in practice and delivers a more substantial vibratory experience than the smaller sizes in the series.
How this bowl works in practice
At first sight, this bowl may seem heavy. In practice, however, once the technique is understood, the work becomes much easier because in direct body application the weight of the bowl is supported by the client’s body, not by the practitioner’s hand alone.
That is one of the important advantages of this size: it allows you to work with a bowl that has more mass, lower frequencies, and broader vibratory expansion, while still being fully usable in session when the application is done correctly.
A more expansive vibratory response
With its 90–130 Hz low range, this model delivers a vibration that is felt in the body in a more expansive and immersive way. The perception is no longer limited to a very specific point. The bowl creates a broader wave of vibration through the body, which is one of the reasons why this size is so appreciated in direct sound massage work.
The Jambati character
Like the other bowls in this series, this model is highly symphonic. Alongside its deep vibratory effect, it offers a long extinction time, many clearly perceptible harmonics, and a rich musical response when rubbed.
That makes it valuable not only in sound massage, but also in practices where a fuller and more expressive sound field is desired.

FAQ
Why is this bowl considered a powerful vibroacoustic model?
This bowl is considered powerful because its lowest frequency range, approximately 90 to 130 Hz, already belongs to a deep zone of body perception.
In practice, these lower frequencies are felt as a more expansive and immersive vibration, with a stronger sense of wave-like movement through the body. This is one of the main reasons why the 27/28 cm model feels more powerful than the smaller sizes in the series.
Are all 27/28 cm bowls on the market suitable for sound massage?
No. Not every bowl of this size is suitable for sound massage.
Singing bowls produce several notes at the same time, and it is the lowest note that generates the perception of vibration in the body. Many bowls may produce a low tone when they are struck with a mallet, but when they are rubbed with a leather-covered stick, that low tone does not always respond with enough strength.
That is why size alone is not enough. In this collection, we make a very careful selection to ensure that each bowl offers the vibratory and sound quality required for vibroacoustic use in direct application on the body.
This is also why we do not recommend buying bowls for sound massage on general platforms or in non-specialized stores, where the quality and real behavior of the instrument can be very uncertain.
Is this bowl too heavy to use comfortably?
At first glance, it may seem heavy. But in direct application on the body, the weight of the bowl rests mainly on the client’s body, not on the practitioner’s hand.
With the right technique, this makes the bowl much more comfortable to use than it may appear at first.
What makes this bowl different from the smaller Jambati sizes?
Compared with the smaller Jambati sizes, this model offers a deeper low range, more mass, and a more expansive body perception of vibration.
It gives a stronger feeling of depth and continuity in the body, while also preserving the long resonance and rich harmonics typical of the Jambati Series.
What is the practical difference between the Jambati Series and the Somatic Series within your vibroacoustic bowls for sound massage?
The Jambati Series and the Somatic Series are both vibroacoustic singing bowls for sound massage, but they do not behave in the same way.
The Jambati Series belongs to the more symphonic side of the collection. These bowls deliver a deep vibration in the body, but they also produce a rich field of harmonics, a long decay, and a broader musical presence in the room.
The Somatic Series is more specifically focused on direct bodywork. These bowls tend to emphasize the lowest tone more directly, which is what the body perceives as vibration. For that reason, they are more specifically oriented toward body application and less toward uses where a more harmonic and expressive sound field is desired.
Besides sound massage, can I also use it for Sound Healing, meditation, or sound bath?
Yes. Like the other bowls in the Jambati Series, this model is highly symphonic and rich in harmonics. It can also be used in Sound Healing, meditation, sound bath, and yoga, especially when a deeper, fuller, and more resonant sound field is desired.
